WinDi Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy defines the procedure for the use and protection by us, MANGO FZCO (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), of your personal data provided by you or otherwise obtained or generated by us in connection with your use of our services (hereinafter referred to as the "Services"). Within this Privacy Policy, the pronouns "we" and "our" refer to the Company, and "you" and "your" refer to you as the consumer of the Services.

This Privacy Policy is part of the WinDi Software User Agreement (hereinafter referred to as WinDi), which defines the terms of use of our Services. Therefore, this Privacy Policy should be considered in conjunction with the WinDi Software User Agreement.

Principles of personal data collection and processing

The fundamental principle of the Company regarding the collection and processing of your personal data is to use only the data necessary for the proper and correct operation of WinDi when used by you.

Legal grounds for processing personal data

The legal basis for processing your personal data is the need to implement our legitimate interests in the quality provision of Services when you use WinDi's functions, taking into account legislative requirements.

1.Personal dataweuse

1.1. Account information, phone numbers, and contact list

When creating an account in WinDi, you provide your phone number and account information (such as name and profile photo). Also, when creating an account, we request permission to synchronize your contact list.

Phone numbers in WinDi act as identifiers. Using the phone numbers saved in your contact list, we can identify users who already use WinDi and with whom you can start communication or task setting using WinDi functions.

You can disable contact synchronization at any time in the system settings menu of your device.

to other WinDi users whose phone numbers are saved in your contact list. This feature allows your contacts to identify you as a WinDi user and contact you using WinDi functions. We do not verify the accuracy of the information provided by you or other WinDi users and do not require you to provide your real name, gender, age, or preferences.

Please note that WinDi users who have added you to their contacts may see you not under the name you provided, but under the one they saved for your number intheircontactlist.

1.2. Tasks and messages in chats

WinDi is a multifunctional software. We store on our servers your tasks, messages, photos, videos, and documents that have been created, received, or sent using WinDi so that you can access your data at any time without resorting to third-party backup services.

We do not use cookie files.

2. Security of personal data

2.1. Data storage

When registering and subsequently using WinDi, your data is stored in Amazon Web Services data centers. These data centers are not owned by our Company. We only lease dedicated space in them. However, the servers and networks containing your personal data hosted in such data centers are owned by our Company. We do not transfer your personal data to the data centers.

2.2. Data retention period

Unless otherwise stated in this Privacy Policy, your personal data is retained only for as long as necessary for us to fulfill our obligations when you use WinDi.

3. Processing of personal data

3.1. Our Services

WinDi is a cloud service. We process your data to provide you with access to tasks, chats, including message history, multimedia, and files, without the need to resort to third-party backup services or cloud storage services.

3.2. Spam and Abuse

To combat fraud (phishing), spamming, and other types of abuse and violations of the WinDi User Agreement, our moderators may block the accounts of any users against whom complaints are received from other WinDi users. If, after verification, the moderators confirm that your account is being used for spamming or other unlawful activities, your account may be restricted - temporarily or permanently. During the period of restrictions, you will not be able to contact WinDi users. In case of more serious violations, your account may be completely blocked.

3.3. Enhanced Features

We may create new useful features using aggregated data on how you use WinDi.

4. Third-party payment systems

4.1. Payment Data

The Company does not process payments made by users when purchasing paid Services in WinDi: this function is performed by third-party payment systems through which the user purchases the Service. These payment systems themselves process and store data from your bank cards. The Company does not have access to this data. We recommend familiarizing yourself with the privacy policies of such payment systems before providing them with your data.

4.2. Bank Card Data

When purchasing paid Services, you enter your bank card details in the interface of the payment system processing the payment. Then this information goes directly to the server of the payment system. Your bank card data never reaches the Company's servers, we do not have access to them, and we do not store them.

5. Individuals to Whom Your Personal Data May Be Transferred

5.1. Other WinDi Users

Other WinDi users are understood as users with whom you voluntarily communicate and share certain information. Please note that by accepting the User Agreement and communicating with other WinDi users, you authorize us to transfer your personal data to such users on your behalf in accordance with this Privacy Policy. We take all appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of data security that corresponds to possible risks.

6. Your Rights Regarding Provided Personal Data

6.1. Your Rights

You have the right to: (1) request information regarding the processing of your personal data; (2) clarify, block, or demand the cessation of processing your personal data or the destruction of data if the personal data are incomplete, outdated, inaccurate, or unlawfully obtained.

6.2. Exercising Your Rights

If you wish to exercise any of these rights, you need to contact us as indicated in Section 9 of this Privacy Policy.

6.3. Data Management

You can manage the use of your data (e.g., disable contact synchronization) in the system settings menu of your device.

If you are not willing to provide the Company with the minimum necessary data when using WinDi, unfortunately, we will not be able to provide you with the opportunity to use WinDi features and other Services. In thiscase, youcandeleteyouraccount.

7. Data Deletion

7.1. User Accounts

When you delete your WinDi account, all your tasks, messages, media files, contacts, and any other data stored in the WinDi cloud storage will also be deleted. Deleting your account needs to be confirmed through the application. After that, it will not be possible to restore the account.

7.2. Automatic Deletion of User Accounts

By default, if you do not log into your account and do not use WinDi for at least 6 months, your profile will be deleted along with all tasks, messages, media files, contacts, and other data stored in the WinDi cloud storage.

8. Changes to the Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to revise this Privacy Policy and make changes to it as necessary. Any changes to this Privacy Policy take effect from the moment a new version is published on the page at https://windi.com/en/privacy . Please check the page from time to time to stay informed about changes to the text of the Privacy Policy.
